Eligibility
Family, friends, fellow Chattabloggers, members of the 9rules community and any regular readers of Transformatum.com are welcome. There is no entry fee to play--it's FREE! If you are new to this site then all I ask in return is that you bookmark my blog URL and subscribe to the feed if you're into RSS (http://transformatum.com/feed/).
Entries
Entries must be made online before the deadline of 3/15/07 @ 12:00pm EST in order to be eligible for participation. Only one entry per person.
Scoring
The pool will use standard scoring (1 pt for correct 1st round pick, 2 pts for correct 2nd round pick, etc.) plus seed scoring (seed number times round number).
Standard Scoring Chart
1st Round - 1 pt
2nd Round - 2 pts
Field of 16 - 3 pts
Field of 8 - 4 pts
Field of 4 - 5 pts
Finals - 6 pts
Standard Scoring Example: Joe picks Notre Dame (#6 seed) over Wisconsin (#2 seed) to win a 2nd Round game. If Notre Dame wins this game Joe would be awarded 2 points. If Notre Dame loses this game or does not make it to this game, Joe gets no points.
Seed Scoring Calculation

Seed Scoring Example: Jane picks Gonzaga (#10 seed) over PITT (#3 seed) in a 2nd Round game. If Gonzaga wins this game Jane would be awarded points based on the seed number (#10) times the round number (#2), which is 20 points (10 x 2). If Gonzaga loses this game or does not make it to this game, Jane gets no points.
